Tascam US-144MKII Review: I got this unit this week, and after installing the driver from the Tascam website for Windows 7 64 bit Home Edition (Cpu is a regular celeron 900 @ 2.20 ghz with 4 gigs ram and 250 gb 5200 rpm hd) the unit worked as advertised. I upgraded from a Mobile Pre usb which is a 16 bit unit, to this for it's 24 bit recording, and Usb 2.0 which has a faster trasfer rate than the Mobile Pre's Usb 1.1.
